HOT TIP FOR JUNE 2007 - DEMONSTRATING YOUR TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT PROCESS CORRECTLY

As Border & Immigration Agency has now superseded Work Permits (UK). Nursing & Residential Care Homes are now required to illustrate there training & development process to the Home Office if they want to employ overseas workers in the capacity of Senior Care Assistants.

To demonstrate this correctly you will need to supply Job descriptions for all levels these will include:

Care Assistants – Job description
Senior Care Assistant – Job description
Registered Nurses – Job description (If you are a Nursing Home)

You will also need to demonstrate the period of time it would take for a Care Assistant to train up to a entry level position as a Senior Care Assistant. Demonstrating the full time scales required for a care assistant to develop into a senior care assistant and what qualifications are required if any to do so i.e. NVQ Qualifications.
